Los Banos Chamber of Commerce is striving to provide quality entertainment
for the entire family at a low admission charge, with the entire cost of the event
to be paid for by corporate sponsorships and event earnings. An internet site
will attract visitors worldwide; providing event information, sponsor information
(links) and info about Los Banos itself along with consistent media coverage via
radio, print and television coverage producing hundreds, perhaps thousands of

Cowboy Fast Draw Association estimates
a minimum of 80 contestants for this first California State
Championship event (challenge issued for 100 shooters)
- Each
contestant typically spends $100 per day when traveling for “a shoot”
- Contestant spending will include accommodations,
food, clothing, memorabilia, etc
- We
estimate a minimum cumulative contestant spending of $12,500 during the 3 day
event, which can easily double or triple when
vendors and families are included
- Contestants
will complete spending survey detailing where/how much spent in LB

contestants will travel to California for the first time ever

Banos’ central location will draw many day guests from surrounding

aspects of event, thereby creating a fundraiser for themselves, generating more
community involvement and a greater work force for vendors and volunteers

Manzanedo Memorial Celebrity Shootoot is fundraiser for local charity
- Golden
State Gunslinger's (local
Fast Draw Club) Gunslinger Alley is fundraiser
for local charity
- Committee members
formed a fast draw club (Golden
State Gunslingers) to create viable competitors from LB
- Event
website provide links for 1800s era clothing, sewing patterns
& costume rentals for same

event in cultural historical dress honors the community diversity
