"Gunslinger
Alley" is shot "outlaw" style, with the shooter holding the gun
at her/his side, awaiting the light, standing 15 feet from the target.
(must wear safety glasses)
It's
the same basics . . .
Target is a 24"
round metal circle
target has a 2"
light in the center
center of the target
is 50" from ground
light is activated
by a timer
Commands
are given
"Shooters
on the line...
.....Shooters set"
(shooters can't move after
shooters set)
Upon
"Shooters set" the
timer is activated
and the target light
will go on (randomly)
somewhere
between 2 and 5 seconds after
activation.
As soon as you see the light
you
raise the gun from your side
and shoot
at the target.
NO NEED FOR BULLS EYE
(no
extra points)
JUST
HIT THE TARGET!
A hit anywhere on the
24" surface will stop the timer . . . and prove who the real fastest draw
is! And that is the point of Cowboy Fast Draw. It sounds simple enough doesn't
it?
Actually it's a bit tricky; you get
VERY excited, especially if you're shooting against a pal. Competition is fun,
and you just want to hit that target faster and faster, much like a video game.
Actually
you really only compete against yourself, for a time.
So,
for $5.00 you get 10 shots at a 24" round target; each shot is timed.
No
time if you miss the target.
The proof
is in the time.
